We do this by encouraging and developing teams of volunteers to set up wildlife protection and development projects, with the aim of helping to restore our local flora and fauna to its glorious natural levels of years gone by. The rate of decline of many of our flora and fauna species is become increasingly worrying for those in our community who really care about the natural beauty of our wildlife, in all its forms.
The reasons for the decline and loss of so many of our species of animal and plant life are many and varied. Our aim is to stop this from happening where we can and to set up projects for redevelopment and recovery.
